Research Project on Music Mobile Phones and community Justice in Melanesia

Project Description:

This project is a research study of mobile phones and music in Melanesia, which is aimed to enhance the livelihoods of musicians across Melanesia. This project aims to nurture creative social networks around music for community justice by working with local musicians and NGOs.

Further Arts and the Wantok Musik Foundation. To do this, it would like to better understand the changing technologies and networks that circulate community-building music in Melanesia. Then, a suitable mobile phone application can be developed and tested a suite of mobile phone applications to create and circulate mobile music with the needs of Melanesian communities and users driving the design.

  1. Identify respondents to the qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

  2. Conduct interviews, surveys and administer questionnaires and report to the clients of the findings and information apart from the sharing the acquired raw data.

  • Data collection, sorting and categorizing

Stage 4. Analysis and Report

  • Complete a preliminary Analysis of the data and transmit data and inform to responsible Universities and entities in Australia.
