Project Objectives:

  1. Conduct are thorough and comprehensive assessment of SCPNG’s HR using all qualitative and quantitative methodologies such as survey, interview, questionnaire, discussion, observation and workshop to ascertain useful, reliable and real-time HR data based on the context of realities. This audit includes assessment of qualifications, experiences, potential, capacity and competencies in line with SCPNG’s expectations within the government overarching interest in taking full control over capital markets, etc.

  2. Evaluate and measure those staffs’ performance on their roles within the current established Job Description, duty statements under their respective contracts.

  3. Review the current trend of performance against the SCPNG’s short term, medium term and long term operation plans, objectives and outcomes.

  4. Assess HR compliance with workplace laws and obligations, measure effectively utilization of human resources within SCPNG brand of business,

  5. Evaluate the need for restructure and recruitment

  6. Enhance SCPNG through recommendations from findings emerging out of the HR Audit business pertaining to SCPNG’s brand in the marketplace, strategize innovative HR program to ensure SCPNG surge and retain presence effectively within the sub-economic sector and manage capital markets appropriately.

Key Sections, Stages and Components of Work:

Stage 1. Assessment – Survey, Interview and HR Audit

  • Conducted a thorough survey and evaluation of the capacity, competency, skills and knowledge of Officer currently serving within SCPNG,

  • Asses the overall establishment and all HR systems within SCPNG

Stage 2. HR Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Report on the results of the survey, research and assessment of SCPNG HR.

  • Recommend to SCPNG Board and Managements on the findings and strategies on the way forward from the challenges being identified thus far.
